During the course of the Pow Wow, oftentime items are donated by individuals or businesses or organizations to help defray the cost of the Pow Wow. These items are then raffled during the Pow Wow and all the funds are used exclusively for the cost of the Pow Wow.
If you or your organization have an item that would be suitable for donation as a Raffle Item for our Pow Wow, please contact Lucy Spotted Eagle through our contact page link, and let her know by email, or you may contact her also by phone as listed on the contact page.
The Pow Wow Committee prefers that items are of a First Nation nature for interest, or pertaining to interest of Veterans. These items can be works of crafts, weavings, paintings, fine pottery, beadwork, regalia, or photographs of a collective nature, portraying Peoples of The First Nations.
Because of the time involved in holding the Raffle, the Pow Wow Committee request that your item you wish to donate for the Raffle have at least a monetary value of $25.00.
If your item(s) are selected for this years Raffle, they will be presented pictorially when possible on this page, and a brief description and mention of the donor.
This year's first donated Raffle item will be a photograph titled "Neon Warrior" with permission from the subject, Damon Polk, to use his likeness for this particular Raffle. The photograph was taken by Mickey Cox / The Right Image Photography, during the Cedar City PowWow in 2006. The Neon Warrior will be mounted
and framed, 20 by 24 inches in an art black frame. Cost of Raffle tickets for this item will be determined at the Pow Wow!
